Did you know that Punxsutawney does a second groundhog festival every year? And, to sweeten the pot, this festival takes place when people aren’t wearing three layers of clothes and clinging to bare survival. And it takes place in the afternoon. And there are rides. And fireworks (well, for one night there are fireworks).

If you like our town and its February groundhog event, don’t forget about us when summer comes. Check out the summer Groundhog Festival’s website. They usually start updating the current year’s events a month or so after after the February Groundhog Day celebration is behind us.
